
L’artiste Dominic Wilcox a proposé aux Londoniens une exposition pensée exprès pour le plus fidèle ami de l’Homme…
Dominic Wilcox se présente comme un artiste à la croisée du design, de l’artisanat et de la technologie. Son objectif : créer des œuvres innovantes, devant susciter la réflexion.
Cet été, il a ainsi présenté une exposition d’art contemporain… destinée aux chiens. Au programme : des installations interactives pensées pour s’adapter aux corps des canidés, des œuvres basées sur leurs activités préférées (passer la tête par la fenêtre d’une voiture en marche, embêter le facteur, attraper un frisbee…) et leurs fantasmes les plus fous.
Une forêt peuplée de morceaux de viande, une gamelle géante remplie de balles en forme de croquettes, et des gamelles qui font office de fontaines : le designer a soigné l’exposition dans les moindres détails. Ainsi, rien d’étonnant à ce que les peintures, par exemple, vous paraissent peu colorées : les chiens ne distinguent en effet que certaines couleurs, comme le jaune et le bleu.
